K. 20-725 Resolution Regarding Defense and Indemnification of Chad Jenkins as a Defendant Pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-10-101, Et Seq.
(File approved by ELT)
The county does not provide enough supporting evidence for the public to understand the scope/results of the internal investigation as to whether Chad Jenkins was acting within the course and scope of their employment. This lack of information makes it impossible for the public to create an informed opinion on the matter (and all similar matters). Given that county taxpayers bear the burden of any civil penalties, we deserve to understand the full facts of the situation prior to a decision.
