I am so disappointed in the order from TCHD. Picking politics over the well being of our children is heartbreaking. Completely throwing out the mountain of evidence of the unintended consequences like emotional development harms, infectious harms, actual medical harms, like breathing in CO2 all day, which their same experts claim is killing our planet, but strapping on a muzzle on our kids to have them breath in their own CO2 it totally healthy??. The suicide rate has sky rocketed this year because of these extreme measures. But those are all completely ignored to appease politics or the irrational fears of a small, very loud group. Forcing this “medical device” on our children at the very least needs to be on a fully informed consent basis. Telling parents to completely dismiss the medical harms of mask on kids is outrageous when the virus is not affecting them. Please don’t tell me it’s from the isolation from not being in school, because homeschool children don’t overflow the hospitals with mental health issues. The death rate among children is 0.00-0.03%. (Not to mention, the children that did pass away had other health issues) This order is beyond ridiculous. The experts at TCHD are completely dismissing the fact they cannot stop this virus. Giving parents the illusion they can stop the virus is very unhealthy and not based in science. I am happy to see that TCHD gave the option for the counties to opt out. Please do the right thing, and opt Adams County out of the mandate and please leave it optional for each family to decide what is best for them and their families.
